Double the Pleasure: Level 3 Design Group Secures Multi Million Dollar Design Deal on Dual Brand Hotel

CHULA VISTA, Calif., March 14, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Level 3 Design Group is finishing the design and FF&E purchasing for the brand-new Hampton Inn & Homewood Suites in the second largest city in San Diego, Chula Vista. The 204-room hotel is slated to open in May.

“Chula Vista is known for its beautiful views and oceanside location, so I really focused on visual appeal from the guest perspective,” said Lindsay Clarke, senior designer at Level 3. “I took advantage of the space by choosing a non-traditional beach theme using soft water colors and earthy hues to give it a light airy feel that also provides an indulgent, relaxing, and dynamic social atmosphere,” she said.

The two hotels will share the same lobby and public space, but each offers distinct accommodations. The Hampton Inn is a select service hotel with perks such as complimentary breakfast, while Homewood Suites is an extended stay property complete with a kitchenette and separate living and sleeping quarters. Guests will enjoy the savoir faire of the social area which includes fun factors like Jenga, an oversized chess board, hanging chairs, a cozy lounge and plenty of convenience outlets for electronic devices. Other amenities such as a media center, game room, fitness center, free WIFI, BBQ grills, car charging stations and a pool are also on site.

“This was a large-scale custom design, so it gave me a great opportunity to think outside of the box and interact with the space in a way that allowed different creative elements to flow,” said Clarke.  “I was able to reimagine certain aspects outside of traditional brand standards while still making sure that all of the hotel requirements were met.”

Level 3 Design Group, recognized as one of the top interior design and FF&E purchasing firms by Hotel Management Magazine, was founded in 1995 and earned its national reputation as a leader in hospitality interior design by providing sophisticated, elegant design solutions with unparalleled customer service experiences.
