We believe in providing an in- depth collaborative approach between our design team and the client to ensure all details are covered and every idea is considered.

Our Design Process

initial meeting

During our discovery meeting our team will ask lots of questions covering your style preferences, budget, functionality and timeline. From this meeting our team will have everything needed to develop the scope of the project and you will know exactly what our design process involves.

Design Services Proposal

Shortly after the Initial Meeting, we will provide you with a Design Services Proposal. The proposal will detail the various phases of the project and fee structure along with client and designer responsibilities.

SITE REVIEW

We will take detailed measurements and photographs of all the spaces involved in your project. Where appropriate, we will also arrange to have the trades people who will be working on your project come in and take their own measurements for estimating purposes.

Floor Plans

After all the measurements have been taken we will develop floor plans for each room. Floor plans allow us to determine what can fit in a space, how it is arranged, and the scale of each piece. We will schedule a meeting during which we’ll review the floor plan and discuss the space. It is helpful to have all decision-makers at this meeting.

In-Depth Design Concept

Once the floor plan is agreed upon, we will begin the design concept. This will include determining the color scheme, materials to be used, furniture and fixtures, and any millwork. Throughout this phase there will be an ongoing discussion between our design team and the client. On going feedback will allow us to narrow down choices until we have a final concept that reflects the client’s vision.

Presentation And Sign Off

Once the design scheme is ready, a presentation meeting will be scheduled to go through the design in detail. You will be presented with fabrics, drawings, photos and samples for each element in the design. By this stage, we should have a complete design scheme that meets your approval. A budget will be provided outlining costs for the project.

Procurement And Purchasing Process

Once the design scheme is signed off, our procurement team will begin ordering all goods and materials.

Construction Phase

Our project manager will schedule and oversee all outside trades involved on the project ensuring that the design is properly executed with the highest quality of workmanship.

Installation / Punch List

Once all work from trades has been completed, our project management and design staff will supervise the installation of all fixtures, furniture, and equipment. Once instillation is complete, our staff will complete a detailed punch list and supervise its completion.

Client Review

Upon completion of the FF&E installation and punch list, we will do a final walk through with the client to ensure that everything meets their satisfaction
